Terms and conditions
Last updated: 9th July 2026
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the YourSound mobile app (the "App"), a curated live music discovery app for London venues, operated by YourSound ("YourSound", "we", "us"), based in the United Kingdom.
By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. Who can use the App
You must be at least 18 years old to use the App. The App surfaces licensed venues such as bars, clubs, pubs, and breweries, and by using it you confirm you meet this age requirement.
2. What YourSound is
YourSound helps you discover live music events at independent and unusual venues in London. We curate venues and surface event information to help you find things to go to. We are a discovery service: we are not the organiser, promoter, or seller of the events shown in the App.
3. Your account
When you create an account, you agree to provide accurate information and to keep your login details secure. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account. If you think your account has been accessed without your permission, contact us.
4. Event information and accuracy
We work to keep event and venue information accurate and useful, and much of it is sourced from venues, promoters, and public listings. However, event details can change or be incorrect. We do not guarantee that any event, date, time, price, line-up, or venue detail shown in the App is complete, current, or accurate.
Always confirm details with the venue or official ticket seller before travelling or buying tickets. We are not responsible for events that are changed, cancelled, sold out, or misdescribed, or for any loss resulting from relying on information in the App.
5. Tickets and third-party links
The App may link to third-party websites, including venue sites and ticket sellers. When you buy a ticket, you do so directly with that third party under their own terms, not with us. We are not a party to those transactions and are not responsible for third-party websites, their content, their availability, or any purchase you make through them.
6. Music previews
The App may play short music previews sourced from Apple's iTunes service to help you recognise artists. This content belongs to its respective owners and is provided through Apple. Previews may not always match the intended artist and are provided for convenience only.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
Use the App for any unlawful purpose.
Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorised access to the App or its systems.
Copy, scrape, or extract the App's curated content or data for commercial purposes without our permission.
Misuse the App in any way that could harm us, other users, or third parties.
8. Our content and intellectual property
The App, including its curation, editorial descriptions, design, branding, and the "YourSound" name, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property law. You may use the App for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit our content without our written permission.
9. The App is provided "as is"
We provide the App with reasonable care, but we do not promise it will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we provide the App "as is" and without warranties of any kind.
10. Our liability
Nothing in these Terms limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so (for example, for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud).
Subject to that, to the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the App, from event information being inaccurate or incomplete, from events being changed or cancelled, or from your dealings with third-party venues or ticket sellers.
11. Ending your use
You can stop using the App and delete your account at any time, in the App under Profile then Delete Account. Deleting your account permanently removes your data as described in our Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or end your access to the App if you breach these Terms or misuse the service.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will update the date at the top and, where appropriate, notify you in the App. Continuing to use the App after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
